The Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) has recently proposed a motion to ban Pride flags. Although the motion was debated at the March 24 meeting, the final vote is not expected until April 28.

In response, Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai (they/them) and Rev. Hoeun Lee—who co-authored this letter opposing the motion—are gathering additional signatures to demonstrate strong and widespread support for inclusion and solidarity. Signatures will be collected until Sunday, April 20.
