Two United Churches and Two Lutheran Churches journey together through Lent.
Join us for special mid-week worship services during Lent, reflecting together on the transformative experiences of faith through the theme of conversion, inspired by the stories of St. Paul and St. Matthew.
On Tuesday, March 25, gather at First United Church at 7:00 PM for worship featuring beautiful and inspiring music led by our music director, Kathleen. Rev. Hoeun Lee will preside, and Rev. Sebastian Meadows-Helmer will preach on the Conversion of St. Paul.
Then, on Wednesday, April 2, join us at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (54 Benton St, Kitchener) beginning with a warm and welcoming soup supper at 5:00 PM, followed by worship at 7:00 PM featuring Holden Evening Prayer. Rev. Brenda Torrie and Rev. Carey Meadows-Helmer will preside, with Rev. Mario Hryniewicz preaching on the Conversion of St. Matthew.
All are welcome as we gather in unity and contemplation during this sacred season.
