The Outreach Committee of First United would like to share this opportunity with you.
Please donate generously to the food bank. Most stores have bins for your donations of food, and there is a collection at the end of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, if you are planning to attend. Also, for the Fall Food Drive, monetary donations are being matched, which means you can double the impact of your generosity!

Thanksgiving is traditionally a time to be thankful for a good harvest. A time to share a healthy, fresh meal with those we love. Sadly, many of your neighbours in Waterloo region are struggling to afford the skyrocketing cost of food. Some won’t be able to put a fresh, healthy meal on the table this Thanksgiving. Thanks to a generous match from Conestoga Meats, donations are being matched.

Holiday (Boxing Day) Meal Help Needed!
The Holiday Meal (Boxing Day – Dec 26th) has been a favourite outreach of First United since 1995! We have only missed one year, in 2020 due to complete Covid lockdown.
Last year, due to illness, and circumstances out of our control, most of the work fell on one person, so this year we are hoping to rebuild a team to make the work a bit lighter and the event more successful!
