Crow Shield Lodge Allyship Workshop April 29, 10 - 2, at the Ken Seiling Museum Site
Youth 12 years and up and adults from the four Waterloo United Church communities are invited to a workshop at Crow Shield Lodge. We will be learning from staff and each other about ‘living into right relations’ through allyship in our region: what the needs are in the Indigenous communities here, ways we can “show up”, and perhaps learning from the life experience of the workshop leaders. Includes a light lunch.
Capacity: 20 people. We are hoping to have at least two participants from each congregation so that moving forward there is no one who had this experience alone.;
Cost: a contribution as you are able, $25 a suggested minimum, but don't let cost hold you back if that feels out of reach. It's a suggestion only.
