Also, have a fresh look at the orange ribbons to honour the unmarked children’s graves. The have been moved for the safety of the daycare.
COMPASS REFUGEE CENTRE AND UKRAINE
We have received communication from Shelley Campagnola from the Compass Refugee
Centre in regards to the evolving situation with Ukranian refugees, as well as others affected by the war.
They are working with the local Ukrainian community leaders to identify a path forward, and will let us know when there is a way we can help.
In the meantime, they are asking for our prayers for these refugees as well as refugees from other places and circumstances who are worried about their own processes.
Shelley ended her message to us with: “Thank you, each of you, for the part you play in God's mission and for the support you give to us to be able to pivot quickly and respond generously and effectively. We could not do this without you!”
FREE CLOTHING at 16 William St. W. Waterloo
Fridays at First has an abundance of clothing that has been donated for people in need. We will be offering it to anyone who would like to drop in from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 20.
Anything not picked up will be donated elsewhere!
